Ace of Swords

Ace of SwordsSwords are the cards of intellect and the aces have a particularly strong influence. In the Ace of Swords you have to stand back for a bit to reflect on its overall power. A strong hand issues from a dense cloud and grasps an upright sword. At the top of the sword there is a jewelled crown with plants overflowing on either side. Lower down and just above the handle of the sword there are flames dancing on either side. At the bottom of the card there is a range of mountains.

This is a powerful card to draw. Although swords are ruled by air, the Ace speaks of a fierce and fiery intellect that is capable of overcoming just about anything. You will not get the better of the Ace of Swords. If this card comes up in a reading and you have asked for advice on how to go about something you can be sure that you will be guided through whatever dilemma or project you are undertaking. You do have the courage and mental clarity to pursue your goal. If it is a lawsuit or an exam, or even a public speech or a campaign you have the power to come out not only a winner, but victorious.

Take advantage of the sheer energy of the Ace of Swords. If you are undecided about something, particularly if it involves studying or an intellectual pursuit, go for it. Seize the day. You won’t regret it. If you are feeling a bit overwhelmed and out of your depth then take courage from the Ace of swords. You can do what is being asked of you but you have to be mentally prepared. If you have an idea but you’re not sure whether others will take it seriously, use the power and intellect of the Ace of Swords to let the idea germinate and grow. Please remember that whichever way you use the power of the Ace of Swords you need to do it with honesty and integrity.

Finally, the significance of the jewelled crown overflowing with plants cannot be ignored. My interpretation is that whatever the Ace of Swords brings it will bring in abundance. Just when you think you’ve made the final breakthrough try to go that extra mile. This will be the jewel in the crown and you may well get results that surprise and delight you and that bring you the recognition you deserve.
 

 
 
Your daily tarot card
There are times when all of us feel that we need some guidance in life, especially when we feel unsure about the path we're taking.
