The Empress
The
Empress is the fourth card in the Major Arcana and it’s numbered 3. I love
this card. The Empress is a kind and forgiving lady who is seated against a
backdrop of trees and a flowing river. At her side is a heart enscribed with
the symbol for a female. The Empress is all woman and she has a
woman's interests at heart. She is a caring nurturing soul who will look
after you just like a caring mother if you let her.
If this card appears in a reading it can mean that abundance is coming your way. It won't be freebies however. You'll need to work at being a nice person and having a caring loving nature. You need to open your heart and mind to all the riches that the earth can provide and bring yourself closer to nature. Appreciate this wonderful place that we live in and give thanks for what we already have. When you are ready you'll be able to accept the gifts that The Empress has in store for you.
There are times when all of us feel that we need some guidance in life, especially when we feel unsure about the path we're taking. A daily tarot card can often help you to see things a bit more clearly. There is no magic in this. What you are doing is drawing on your inner resources and strength. You are using your intuition and the illustration on the card to help you to see things in every possible light.
