Strength
Strength is the ninth card in the Major Arcana and it’s numbered eight. This card shows a gentle woman stroking a lion as if he's a pet dog. She has the wise look of a person who knows exactly what she's doing. Above her head is the sign of infinity. She is the very embodiment of strength, what we would call a person with backbone. This person does not need physical strength to tame the lion. She is strong in mind and yet so gentle.
This card is showing you that you don't need to be physically strong to rise to a challenge. Your mental strength is every bit as important. If you have a challenge ahead even if it's very physical you will be successful if you have the right mental attitude.
Strength also tells you that no matter how bleak things may look or how weak you feel now, you can start tapping into the universal energy to make you strong. Be positive and start now. You will overcome.

There are times when all of us feel that we need some guidance in life, especially when we feel unsure about the path we're taking. A daily tarot card can often help you to see things a bit more clearly. There is no magic in this. What you are doing is drawing on your inner resources and strength. You are using your intuition and the illustration on the card to help you to see things in every possible light. I find that rather than relying on a computer to draw the daily card for me it's best to have an actual deck that I can draw a card from myself. The deck I'm using here is the Universal Rider Waite deck which is easily available online. Some of the auctions are shown below, or for more information visit our
