The Ace of Cups

Ace of Cups tarot card illustration.

The Ace of Cups is positively overflowing with energy and the card has a definite feeling of wellbeing about it.  A dove and a cross symbolise peace and inner contentment while the cup itself overflows into a beautiful pool dotted with water lilies.  The cup is held in the palm of the hand.

If this card comes up in a tarot reading you should feel very pleased.  Even if things haven't been going too well lately you will be able bring people around to your way of thinking or charge a seemingly negative situation with positive energy.  For a while it will seem as if you can hold the world in the palm of your hand.  You intuitively know what to do and can bring your love and compassion to the fore.  This is also a card of great spirituality.  If you have been seeking a higher power or maybe you want to be touched by an angel or get in touch with a loved one who has passed then this card is a sign.  Your prayers and affirmations have been heard.  Trust in your feelings and let your intuition guide you.

Your daily tarot card
There are times when all of us feel that we need some guidance in life, especially when we feel unsure about the path we're taking. A daily tarot card can often help you to see things a bit more clearly. There is no magic in this. What you are doing is drawing on your inner resources and strength. You are using your intuition and the illustration on the card to help you to see things in every possible light. I find that rather than relying on a computer to draw the daily card for me it's best to have an actual deck that I can draw a card from myself. The deck I'm using here is the Universal Rider Waite deck which is easily available online. Some of the auctions are shown below, or for more information visit our Rider Waite page.
