Queen of Cups

The Queen of Cups sits on an ornate throne decorated with cherubs.  In her hands she holds a cup which she gazes on lovingly.  The sea is lapping in around her throne and there are pebbles at her feet.  In the background we can see tall cliffs.

The Queen of Cups doesn't appear to notice anything around her, not even the sea which is threatening to engulf her at any moment.  For her the sea is not a threat and she is happy to give her unconditional love and faith.  As such she is a spiritual person who cares deeply about all of those people and animals who need her love the most.  She gives  freely and with true sentiment.  There is nothing false about her.

The Queen of Cups is naturally intuitive and people turn to her with their problems.  She gives a very positive energy and may be a channel for a higher energy.  As such she may be psychic and she always has one foot in that other world that many of us don't always see.  You could trust the Queen with your life.  She will always be sensitive to your needs and will help you unconditionally.

When you draw this card in a reading it is a sign that you need some of this queen's positive energy and sensitivity.  You need to tune in to the people and animals around you and pick up on the emotional current.  It may be that you have misunderstood a situation or you have misread someone's intentions.   What those around you need now is a sensitive caring person to turn to.  Can you help someone in need?

If you feel that it is you who needs the help right now then the Queen of Cups and all she stands for can help you.  You need to do some relaxation and meditation exercises and focus on what it is you need.  Once you've identified this ask for help and then let it go.

Your daily tarot card
There are times when all of us feel that we need some guidance in life, especially when we feel unsure about the path we're taking. A daily tarot card can often help you to see things a bit more clearly. There is no magic in this. What you are doing is drawing on your inner resources and strength. You are using your intuition and the illustration on the card to help you to see things in every possible light. I find that rather than relying on a computer to draw the daily card for me it's best to have an actual deck that I can draw a card from myself. The deck I'm using here is the Universal Rider Waite deck which is easily available online. Some of the auctions are shown below, or for more information visit our Rider Waite page.
