Queen of Pentacles

The Queen of Pentacles sits on her beautifully decorated throne set in a lovely
garden. Behind her is a backdrop of mountains and to her left there is a
rabbit. The Queen holds her pentacle in her lap and she gazes at it
lovingly. You get the feeling straight away that this is a kind and
generous person who can heal your grief and your woes.
The Queen of Pentacles is the original earth
mother. She's the one who looks after everyone's children and animals and
always has room for more. She brings you into her home where you are fed
and watered and she gives you a wonderful feeling of warmth and safety.
You just know that everything is going to be alright when she's around.
As you would expect from the Queen of Pentacles any
problem that you have can be sorted out with the minimum of fuss. She is
so practical that she can sort things out in a logical way that you would never
have thought of while you're flapping and panicking. She is a loyal friend
indeed and you should treasure her.
If you draw this card in a reading you need to take
some inspiration from her. If you've been a bit unkind towards someone or
haven't had time for them then you must make amends. The Queen is asking
you to take some of her energy and apply to areas of your life where it is
needed most. There are people who could do with your support right now and
you will benefit greatly if your can spare them some of your time and give a
little kindness and practical help.
This card can also mean that someone like the Queen
is evident in your life at the moment and you need to recognise her special
skills. Take heed of what she tells you. She is a wise woman and
like your mum, she always know best.

Your daily tarot card
There are times when all of us
feel that we need some guidance in life, especially when we feel unsure
about the path we're taking. A daily tarot card can often help you to see
things a bit more clearly. There is no magic in this. What you are doing is
drawing on your inner resources and strength. You are using your intuition
and the illustration on the card to help you to see things in every possible
light. I find that rather than relying on a computer to draw the daily card
for me it's best to have an actual deck that I can draw a card from myself.
The deck I'm using here is the Universal Rider Waite deck which is easily
available online. Some of the auctions are shown below, or for more
information visit our
Rider Waite page.
