The Seven of Swords
If your life seems fraught with troubles. It's no good throwing your hands up in the air and saying you can't cope when everyone around you expects you to sort things out NOW. The dancing man could be struggling with the burden of all those swords and yet he dances with a smile on his face. If you are facing a number of difficulties then this card is telling that you can be like this man and carry them lightly. You don't need to be a superhero and solve the problems on your own all in one go. No-one can do that. What you need is to sort things out one by one. Put some of your troubles on a back burner and sort out the one thing that is annoying you first. Once you've done that you can move on to the next difficulty and have a go at that. The chances are that by the time you get a short way through your list of troubles someone else will have solved some of them for you. If you are horrified at this idea then don't be. You can't strike out on your own all the time. If you look again at the Seven of Swords you'll see that the dancing man is dancing on his own. You don't have to do this. Look at the group of figures round the camp fire. They are probably having a good gossip while someone else does all the work. The truth is that they have left things to you because you always do them or because you took off on your own and simply didn't want to ask anyone to help. It's time now to think about a bit of delegation. People like to feel included and they like to feel useful so don't go and do everything yourself and then say, "There I've done that all on my own, what did you do?" Go and have a gossip by the fire while someone else takes charge for a while.
