The Six of Pentacles

In the Six of Pentacles we see a rich man who is clearly standing judgement over the serfs kneeling at his feet.  In his left hand he holds a pair of scales.  He is using his right hand to dish out coins to one of the beggars at his feet.  The other one he appears to ignore.

If you have drawn this card then it may telling you that you are standing in judgement over someone or over a situation and you are favouring one person or one side of the argument over another.  If you are in the position of the rich man where you are presiding over something then maybe you need to be a bit more impartial.   You need to listen to both sides of the argument first.

The Six of Pentacles also has a strong connection to material wealth and the rich man and the beggars are showing both sides of the coin.  You may be rich now but take care of your finances and don't fritter the money away.  If you are needy then your turn may well be coming to play the part of the rich man.

What the Six of Swords is saying is that a situation can turn in an instant.  You can go bankrupt just as easily as you can land that good job or strike a deal that makes you rich.  Don't ever be tempted to take things for granted.

Your daily tarot card
There are times when all of us feel that we need some guidance in life, especially when we feel unsure about the path we're taking. A daily tarot card can often help you to see things a bit more clearly. There is no magic in this. What you are doing is drawing on your inner resources and strength. You are using your intuition and the illustration on the card to help you to see things in every possible light. I find that rather than relying on a computer to draw the daily card for me it's best to have an actual deck that I can draw a card from myself. The deck I'm using here is the Universal Rider Waite deck which is easily available online. Some of the auctions are shown below, or for more information visit our Rider Waite page.
