The Six of Wands

The Six of Wands shows a man with a crown of laurel leaves sitting astride a horse and holding a wand aloft.  The wand also has a crown of laurel leaves.  Surrounding him are people on foot who appear to be cheering him on.  Clearly he has been victorious.

This sums up the Six of Wands.  It stands for victory of one kind or another.  If you take part in sport or any other competitive activity and you have drawn this card, then you may well come home victorious.  This is what you have been striving to achieve and you have put in a lot of hard work to get to this point.  No-one can take this moment away from you.  It's your moment and you deserve it.

A moment is just a moment though and you will need to work hard to keep your newly found position at the top of your game.  You also need to guard against becoming big headed about your achievements.  Other people may have put in just as much hard work and their time will come.  You don't want to be one of those arrogant people who think they're a cut above everyone else.  If you are doing that little bit better then maybe you should think about teaching your skills to those who are still struggling.

If you haven't yet reached the winning post but you've put a lot of work into reaching your goal you can be sure that your efforts are going to pay off.   Your turn will come, look forward to it, stay positive and know that you are about to be on a winning streak.

Your daily tarot card
There are times when all of us feel that we need some guidance in life, especially when we feel unsure about the path we're taking. A daily tarot card can often help you to see things a bit more clearly. There is no magic in this. What you are doing is drawing on your inner resources and strength. You are using your intuition and the illustration on the card to help you to see things in every possible light. I find that rather than relying on a computer to draw the daily card for me it's best to have an actual deck that I can draw a card from myself. The deck I'm using here is the Universal Rider Waite deck which is easily available online. Some of the auctions are shown below, or for more information visit our Rider Waite page.
