The Ten of Wands
The Ten of Wands represents those times when you are shouldering the burden. If you're going it alone it can be very stressful. You are doing far too much of the work and you are shouldering the burden on your own. If this applies to you then it will pay to look around for help and to delegate where you can. In the illustration the man is very close to home where surely he can lay down his burden. It is significant that he is walking on barren ground but he is heading towards green pastures. This means that if you are labouring under a burden the situation won't last for long. Sometimes the Ten of Wands is an indication that you will be expected to take the lead and look after things for a while or the burden is one that is to do with a family matter where you need to take control. You may need to be the one to carry it for a while but it will be resolved. If the burden relates to your job it could mean that you will need to work a bit harder for a while and take on extra duties but you will eventually have some help. If you have been in this situation for a while and things are getting worse or you feel that you are being put upon then you must do something about it. Other people may not realise how much they are relying on you to do everything but they have to understand that you need help and that you also need a break. Explain to them how you feel and make plans to take your break as soon as possible. Just making the decision and planning the break will be all you need to start laying down your burden. Trust your instincts and know that help is at hand and you will soon find your path becoming easier.
